Cookies & Tracking Policy
Last updated: May 2026
1. Our Stance on Tracking
At Kindred Systems, we build infrastructure to strictly govern AI data execution. We apply that same standard of strict data minimization to our own web presence.
We do not use any tracking cookies, third-party analytics scripts, or advertising pixels on kindredsystems.ai.
2. Essential Cookies Only
Our platform runs on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may deploy strictly necessary, temporary edge-routing tokens (such as `__cf_bm`) to distinguish between human users and malicious bots, protecting our infrastructure from DDoS attacks.
These technical tokens do not track your cross-site browsing behavior and contain no personally identifiable information. Because they are strictly necessary for the secure delivery of the website, they do not require prior consent under the EU ePrivacy Directive (Cookie Law).
3. US Regulations (CCPA/CPRA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and related US state privacy frameworks, websites that use cookies for targeted advertising must disclose this as "sharing" or "selling" data.
Because we do not deploy any third-party behavioral trackers or advertising scripts, we do not engage in the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You do not need to hunt for an opt-out button on our site—your privacy is the default state.
4. Managing Your Preferences
Should we ever introduce features requiring non-essential cookies (such as authenticated dashboards for the Kindred IDE), we will implement a compliant consent management platform allowing you to explicitly opt-in. Until then, no action is required on your part.
